After growing up in a military family and living in several different states, I came to Colorado and finished a BA program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. After college I lived and worked in Houston, Texas, Palo Alto, California, Wooster, Massachusetts just outside Boston, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington before being transferred back to the Denver area.
Prior to being a Real Estate Broker, homes in the urban neighborhoods in all the cities where I had lived always had a special place in my heart, and home tours and open houses have always been a part of my life even while on vacation. After one of my famous tours of homes, in which I informed my captive audience not only of the beautiful architecture, I think I took the tour one step too far when I also filled him in on what many of the individual homes had sold for and when they sold. My captive?s comment was ?you should be a real estate agent?! That comment ended that tour but put me on a new career path which is the best thing I have ever done. Everything I have done in prior careers and many personal interests have all converged to provide the depth of knowledge about real estate, from financing, home improvements, urban neighborhoods and home preservation which makes up the experience upon which I draw to serve my clients when time comes for them to make a real estate move. I can finally DO WHAT I LOVE, something I would do voluntarily and getting paid is the bonus!
Owning a home is a very important part of your personal and financial foundation, and buying and selling a home is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. After 15 years as a very active full time agent in the Denver real estate market, during which time I have focused almost exclusively on assisting people in buying and selling homes in our beautiful Denver urban neighborhoods, I have assisted people in making those decisions and accomplishing their real estate related goals over 500 times in both single family and multi-unit income properties.
When selling a home, accurate pricing and exposing your home to the largest number of prospective buyers possible is where my knowledge of the Denver market, comprehensive and effective marketing gets results even in a tough market! When buying a home, my depth of experience and knowledge of current property values and trends specific to the neighborhood you are considering gives you a competitive edge to make wise decisions that you won't regret if and when the time comes to sell! My extensive knowledge of the buying/selling process, which can only come from years of experience, and a specialization in and focus on the homes in the Denver area, help to accomplish a smooth and pleasant experience for my clients during a process that can be nerve racking.
