After 8 years of service in the US Army and many more years in retail and manufacturing middle management, I was determined to find something to do that I truly loved. Art and function have been driving forces throughout my life. My experience in luthiery and pastime vintage car restoration transferred into a passion for vintage homes. I bought an exquisite Craftsman Bungalow in Harkness Heights through Nostalgic Homes in 2000. From that point on I was hooked! I became a real estate broker in 2001 and joined Nostalgic Homes, where I met my wife, Jenny Apel. We were offered the incredible opportunity to become the new owners in 2006 and have proudly continued the tradition of excellence as one of the top-producing teams in the metro region.
I am an analytical person by nature and would be thrilled to share stats, facts, sales figures, and probably even a little history about the neighborhood with you. I can equally share advice from real-life lessons in renovating, preserving, and maintaining your vintage home—where to pick up that replacement glass door handle, vintage sink, or art deco lighting. I pride myself on my dedication to protecting my client's best interests and negotiating for a win while having a little fun along the way. I have been involved in, or supervised, hundreds of transactions across more than two decades in real estate. Feel free to reach out and draw upon my expertise!
