I absolutely love my job and clients tell me my enthusiasm really shows. In fact, we have such a great time together during the house hunting process that many of my past clients become good friends. I’ve been in sales my entire life and real estate is definitely one of the most exciting and rewarding jobs. It means a lot to me to know that people trust me with such an important purchase. Homes change people’s lives, and I’m honored to be part of the process. Seeing the faces of my clients light up in their new home is only one of the many things about this business that I treasure.
I have spent my 18 year career as a Realtor working with the Apel Team (now Nostalgic Homes Group), plus am the face of sales at Highland Development Co, all while operating under the Compass umbrella. Being part of a team is truly a satisfying experience for me. The mutual support and camaraderie we enjoy really energizes me. Our team members also provide seasoned input on the issues concerning “all of our clients.” We obtain multiple viewpoints on real estate issues, giving us a huge advantage. This is why our team delivers top results to both our buyers and sellers.
As a fourth generation Colorado native, I know a great deal about the many wonderful neighborhoods in which I work. Being a Native allows me to specialize in helping folks who are relocating to Denver, as I take pride in knowing much about the Denver Metro areas. I spend much of my work day in urban Denver from my Sloan’s Lake base (my neighborhood for 28 years), but my listings can also be found in the surrounding areas of Arvada, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge…even Longmont. I also own rentals in both Denver and Jefferson County, which is a great way to diversify your retirement. My belief is so much, that many clients will work with me to purchase/exchange rentals on a consistent basis.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my hubby of 28 years and our college-aged daughter, plus a pair of exuberant beagles. My “free time” is spent watching and playing sports, exercising (especially biking), and working as a volunteer when possible. I also love to travel and visit other real estate markets in person. I view my career as a continuous learning experience and I hope to keep improving and refining my services for years to come.
