Cole is a working-class neighborhood in Denver with a combination of small homes and apartment buildings. Most of the community consists single-family housing units. The Cole Neighborhood has two City Parks; Russell Square Park is in the northeast part of the neighborhood and St. Charles Park is in the northwest corner of the area. The community became part of Denver in 1874. Cole is bounded by York St to the East, MLK Jr Blvd to the South.
