Whittier

Whittier neighborhood is located two miles north-eastern part of downtown Denver. It is bordered by M.L.K Jr. Boulevard to the north, E. 23rd Avenue to the south, York street to the east and N. Downing street to the west. John Greenleaf Whittier school inspired the name of the neighborhood. Whittier is a delight for aficionados of late-1800’s architecture. Many of the old Victorians still stand and have been lovingly restored in all their craftsman-made, gingerbread-trim glory.
