Speer is a neighborhood located in south Denver. The neighborhood boundaries are E. 7th avenue to the north, N. Marion street and N. Downing Street to the east, N. Broadway to the West and E. Alameda Avenue to the south. Speer lies along the transition between the very upscale Cherry Creek east end, and the older, commercial strip of Broadway on the west. It also runs from Capitol Hill on the north to the Washington Park West area on the south.

Speer Community Amenities

Speer is a very wealthy neighborhood. Upscale homes surrounded by a high wall are especially prominent in the area.
