Downtown Denver Community Amenities
Downtown is also home to many of Denver’s top farm-to-table restaurants and innovative craft breweries, and the Denver Beer Trail is an excellent guide to sampling those local brews. Some of the more popular features include the 16th Street pedestrian mall, built in 1982, Larimer Square, the re-emerging Theatre District near Curtis and 14th, and Civic Center Park. Denver has made a strong effort to centralize its commercial and entertainment interests in the Downtown area. Currently, it is home to both Coors Field and Pepsi Center, and roughly a mile from nearby Sports Authority Field at Mile High. LoDo and the 16th Street mall are home to hundreds of bars, restaurants, and cafes, attracting many residents from the metro area and supporting the 10,000 plus residents living in the central business district. Additionally, Downtown Denver is home to the second largest Performing Arts Center in the United States.
Downtown Denver Schools
If you’re moving into the area, there are many schools listed in the area. A few of them include Greenlee Elementary School, West High School, Kepner Middle School and Grant Beacon Middle School. You can transfer from one school to another using the SchoolChoice program.
